The price of plastic CNC machined parts depends on the following factors:
◆ Lead Time: The longer the part processing time, the higher the cost. Production time is usually the main cost reason for CNC machining.
◆ Surface and Structure: Machining multi-face products requires multiple setups for production, or 4-axis and 5-axis machining. Structural reasons such as: increased rib density increases production time cost; internal right angles increase corner cleaning cost.
◆ Materials and Surface Treatment: Different materials have different costs. For example, among metal materials, steel is the cheapest; magnesium alloy is the lightest; aluminum alloy has good performance; stainless steel has good performance but sharp edges; titanium alloy is expensive and difficult to machine. Surfaces requiring electroplating or anodizing have high requirements for the quality of raw materials, and their surface flatness must be good. Powder coating can cover slightly larger defects.
◆ Other Manufacturing Costs: When machining slender parts with extremely thin wall thickness, there is a risk of deformation or scrap. Non-standard precision holes and non-standard threads may require custom tools. Holes with angles require special fixtures or staged machining.

1. Change internal right angles at non-assembly positions to fillet radius (R) to reduce corner cleaning cost;
2. Reduce the number of faces;
